How can I manage my account?
Select the 'My account' link from the sidebar navigation menu.  A tabbed page
is displayed that permits you to view your membership history; edit account
information and preferences; view message log; manage subscriptions; and upload
image files.

How do I set account preferences?
Select the 'My account' link from the side menu and then select the 'Edit' tab.
You can select or enter the following preferences:

    E-mail address - A valid e-mail address is required. All e-mails from the
    system will be sent to this address. The e-mail address is not made public
    and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to
    receive certain news or notifications by e-mail.

    Password - To set or reset your password, enter it correctly in both fields
    and click save at the bottom of the page. Use the new password the next time you
    logon to graphviz.org.   No confirmation email will be sent to you.
    When you register Drupal sends you a default password
    that is often hard to remember, so it is recommended that you change your
    password to something you can easily remember.

    Block configuration - The site administrator may make some content blocks
    optional. You can enable and disable the display of these blocks by checking
    and unchecking the boxes next to them. The User ID block is an example.  By
    unchecking this box, you will disable the display of the user welcome message
    at the top of the left side navigation bar.

    Contact settings - Allow other users to contact you by e-mail via your personal
    contact form. Note that while your e-mail address is not made public to other
    members of the community, privileged users such as site administrators are able
    to contact you even if you choose not to enable this feature.

    Messaging and Notifications settings - The default send method should be set to
    the default value 'Mail'. You can select the Autosubscribe option. Checking this
    box allows you to automatically subscribe to any thread you create or post a
    comment to.

    Locale settings - Select your current local time. Dates and times throughout this
    site will be displayed using this time zone.

How can I check my message log?
Select the 'My account' link from the side menu and then select the 'Message Log' tab.

How can I manage my subscriptions?
Select the 'My account' link from the side menu and then select the 'Subscriptions' tab.
There are four sub-tabs available under 'Subscriptions'.

    Overview - The number of subscriptions currently assigned to your account for
    pages/threads, content type and taxonomy categories is displayed. Below that is
    a settings area where you can designate auto-subscribe options, notification
    preferences and subscription controls visibility.

        Auto-subscribe - There are three settable options:
            Auto-subscribe to new content
            Automatically subscribes you to items that you create.

            Auto-subscribe to updated content
            Automatically subscribes you to items that you update
            (if you have that permission).

            Auto-subscribe to comments
            Automatically subscribes you to items that you comment on
            (or where you update a comment, if you have that permission).

        Notify poster of own posts
        Sends you notifications about your own posts (if you're subscribed).

        Digest mode
        Merges your notifications into a single email, sent at the interval
        you specify.

        Send Interval
        The frequency of notifications; it may take longer, but notifications
        will not be sent more frequently than indicated.

        Send On updates
        Sends a notification when an item is updated.

        Send On comments
        Sends a notification when an item receives a comment or reply.

        Visibility of controls
        Allows you to hide the send interval, send on updates and send on comments
        preferences described above.  Once these preferences are set, you may not
        need to display them.

    Pages/Threads
        This sub-tab displays currently subscribed to pages and forum topic threads

    Content types
        Lists the available content types that may be subscribed to. You may subscribe
        or unsubscribe to a content type by checking or unchecking its checkbox.  If a
        checkbox is already checked, it indicates that you are currently subscribed the
        content type.  The avaiable content types are forum topic and wiki page.

    Categories
        Similar to the Content types sub-tab, you can select forum topics, vocabulary
        items and taxonomy tags that you wish to subscribe to. Whenever content is
        created, updated or commented on you will receive notification (depending on
        your selected preference).

 

Recent comments
