Several files generated from command dot

I was wondering if I could generate several files by means of command dot.

I was trying something like: "dot -Tpng -O exec1_graph.dot exec2_graph.dot" but this is not working... I would like to get two new files from these graphs like: "exec1_graph.png" and "exec2_graph.png".

Sorry, the interface does not

Sorry, the interface does not provide a mechanism for doing this. The -O is there for the case when a single layout needs multiple output files, typically one being a bitmap and one being an imagemap.

You can get what you need by a simple shell script.

That's just what I am doing up to now, but it's too much expensive in time when I need to generate at least 30 different graphs.

For 30 different graphs, most

For 30 different graphs, most of the time is going to be spent in the layout and rendering.  You are going to incur this whether done by a shell script or as a feature in Graphviz. The only case where you can save time is if there is a single layout followed by multiple renderings, which is the option we currently support.
